## Core Responsibilities
* Chairperson & Vice Chairperson: Responsible for overseeing the overall mandate, functions, and strategic leadership of the KNKT.
* Sub-Committee Heads: Tasked with leading, organizing, controlling, and supervising formal investigations into transportation accidents specific to their designated sectors (Maritime, Aviation, Railway, or Road Traffic).
## Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for these positions, applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Nationality & Integrity: Must be an Indonesian citizen with high moral integrity and a clean criminal record.
* Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the relevant transportation field (rail, maritime, aviation, or road).
* Leadership: Proven background in organizational management or leadership roles.
* Education: Minimum of a Diploma IV or Bachelor’s degree (S1) relevant to the specialized field.
* Age: Maximum 60 years old at the time of application.
* Fitness: Physically and mentally healthy, drug-free, and not affiliated with any political party.
* Professional Transition: Willingness to resign from positions as an entrepreneur, state-owned enterprise (BUMN/BUMD) employee, or private sector leadership within one month of appointment if successful. Existing public servants (PNS), military (TNI), or police (POLRI) personnel must be willing to take a temporary leave or resign from their active status as per government regulations.
