## Position Overview: Production Supervisor
We are actively seeking a dedicated and visionary Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing floors. In this capacity, you will bridge strategic production targets with daily operational execution, ensuring that our output meets world-class automotive standards.
Key Responsibilities
To excel in this role, you will be expected to manage and optimize various facets of the production lifecycle. Your daily duties will encompass:
* Operational Oversight: Supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations to successfully meet production targets centered around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SQCDM).
* Standard Compliance: Guarantee that all production methodologies, machinery, raw materials, and personnel strictly adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), and comprehensive safety protocols.
* Process Control & Troubleshooting: Monitor real-time manufacturing metrics and swiftly resolve operational abnormalities to prevent downtime.
* Continuous Improvement: Champion and lead Kaizen initiatives, driving enhanced productivity, cost-efficiency, and safety standards across the board.
* Team Leadership & Development: Coach team members, manage manpower allocation, perform line balancing, and conduct effective shift handovers.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality Assurance, PPIC, and Warehouse departments.
* Workplace Organization: Maintain rigorous 5S/2S standards and implement visual management techniques throughout the facility.
## Candidate Requirements
We are looking for agile thinkers and hands-on leaders who possess the right educational foundation and professional mindset.
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Engineering, Metal Fabrication Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
* Experience Level: Welcoming ambitious fresh graduates as well as professionals with up to 3 years of relevant hands-on manufacturing experience. (Prior supervisory or coordination experience in a production environment is a distinct advantage).
* Technical Familiarity: Demonstrated knowledge or hands-on exposure to Injection and Casting Machine Setup is highly preferred.
* Core Abilities: Exceptional leadership capabilities, sharp analytical aptitude, and robust problem-solving skills, coupled with the versatility to work independently or within a multidisciplinary team.
