## The Role: AI Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our team, focusing on the intersection of machine learning and generative search. * Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in AI/ML Engineering.
* Production Expertise: Proven track record in fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and optimizing model performance for real-world production environments.
* Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): A deep understanding of how AI search engines—such as Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Gemini—retrieve and index information.
* Collaborative Mindset: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable strategies, working seamlessly across development, strategy, and content teams.
## Required Technical Competencies

Model Development and Optimization

* Hugging Face Ecosystem: Mastery of the Transformers, Datasets, PEFT, and Trainer API libraries.

AI Search Strategy and Infrastructure
* Generative Engine Optimization: Advanced skills in structuring data and semantic content to maximize visibility in AI-driven search results.
* Markup and Indexing: Familiarity with structured data implementation and citation optimization to ensure accurate LLM indexing.
* Data Pipeline Engineering: Expert-level Python programming for data preparation, model training pipelines, and automated evaluation.
* Compute Management: Fundamental understanding of GPU architecture (CUDA) and cloud-based scaling platforms, including RunPod, Lambda, GCP, and AWS.
