# Career Opportunities at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ankara: Local Administrative Staff Recruitment

The strong bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Turkey has paved the way for exceptional cross-cultural and professional exchanges. At the heart of this diplomatic alliance is the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ankara, which serves as the primary diplomatic mission representing Indonesian interests in the Republic of Turkey. To support its growing operations, the embassy has officially announced a vacancy for a local administrative staff member, offering a unique opportunity for qualified professionals to build a career within an international diplomatic environment.
## A Legacy of Indonesian-Turkish Diplomatic Relations

Established in 1958, the Indonesian Embassy in Ankara has long been a cornerstone of cooperation between the two nations. Initially led by Chargé d'Affaires Baharsjah during its foundational year, the mission welcomed its first official Ambassador, Subiyakto, who served from 1959 to 1964. Beyond the capital, Indonesia also maintains a Consulate General in Istanbul to facilitate consular services and trade relations.

Currently, the embassy is located in the prestigious Çankaya district of Ankara, situated on Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Street (historically known as Abdullah Cevdet Street). This central location places the diplomatic mission at the hub of Turkey's administrative and governmental activities.
