1. Mine Engineer
The Mine Engineer role is critical to the organization’s success, focusing on mine planning, production scheduling, and the execution of high-quality engineering designs.
* Monitor life-of-mine implementation plans, ensuring assumptions regarding pit optimization, production scheduling, and ore blending strategies are met.
* Design mining hills using geological data, including block models, ore zones, grade distribution, and stripping ratios.
* Create short, medium, and long-term mine plans that incorporate equipment models, operational expenditure (OPEX), and capital expenditure (CAPEX) estimates.
* Control and coordinate the preparation of the mine budget to ensure project optimization and adherence to cost profiles.
* Integrate Good Mining Practices to maximize economic returns (IRR and NPV) while maintaining safety and technical standards.
* Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mining Engineering.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
* Possession of a Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) certification is mandatory.
* Advanced proficiency in mining software such as Vulcan, Surpac, Deswik, Whittle, MineMax, and MineSched, alongside MS Office and Project management tools.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder presentation.
2. Junior Geologist
The Junior Geologist provides essential support for mineral resource evaluation, field surveys, and geological modeling to ensure the consistent quality and quantity of nickel production.
* Oversee the mining production process, from extraction to shipping, to prevent contamination and ensure ore quality meets specified targets.
* Conduct routine field sampling and audit sampling stations, laboratories, and trommels to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
* Direct heavy equipment operators to prioritize high-grade material extraction.
* Evaluate contractor performance, including workforce readiness and procedural compliance, to identify gaps and implement corrective improvements.
* Validate geological data and prepare comprehensive daily reports to support informed management decision-making.
* Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role.
* Possession of a Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) certification is highly preferred.
* Proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
