## Join Our Dynamic HSE Team
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team, specifically to oversee safety protocols and regulatory compliance within our geothermal operations. This is a critical role for a professional dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and workplace safety.
Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing field safety protocols, ensuring that all site activities adhere to strict industry regulations. Key duties include:
* Risk Management: Drafting comprehensive Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Task Risk Assessment (TRA) documentation before any work commences.
* Equipment Oversight: Conducting rigorous inspections of work equipment, including verification of certification validity and operator competencies.
* Compliance & Permits: Managing the Permit to Work (PTW) system, including preparation, submission, and final closure of documents upon project completion.
* Field Safety Operations: Leading Pre-Job Safety Meetings (PJS), conducting H₂S gas measurements, and supervising active work sites to ensure absolute adherence to HSE standards.
* Administrative Excellence: Maintaining meticulous records of field HSE activities and preparing detailed performance reports.
* Training & Awareness: Developing and delivering safety awareness programs to empower our field workforce.
Candidate Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a strong background in high-stakes energy environments. We require the following:
1. Professional Certification: Must hold a valid Oil & Gas HSE Certification (mandatory).
2. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer within the oil and gas sector, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in oil well operations.
3. Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in developing JSA and HIRADC documents.
4. Specialized Knowledge: A deep understanding of Pertamina PTW systems and successful completion of SIKA training.
5. Operational Skill: Demonstrated ability to perform H₂S gas measurements safely and accurately.
6. Preferred Background: Prior experience working specifically on Pertamina Geothermal Energy projects is considered a significant advantage.
