## Job Opening: Logistics Operator
We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to fill the Logistics Operator position. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless supply chain workflows, inventory accuracy, and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
As a Logistics Operator at SIMCO, your day-to-day tasks will encompass a blend of logistics management, machinery support, and maintenance protocols. Your core duties will include:
* Managing end-to-end logistics workflows, including proper material storage and precise inventory logging.
* Operating production machinery while strictly adhering to Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Executing basic preventive maintenance tasks such as visual inspections, lubrication, and minor component replacements.
* Handling operational transport duties utilizing a valid SIM A driver's license.
* Operating a forklift safely and efficiently within the warehouse and production floor.
* Maintaining accurate records, managing packaging processes, and ensuring proper maintenance of operational tools.
* Implementing the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) in the workspace.
Candidate Requirements
To thrive in this role, applicants must meet the following professional and educational criteria:
1. Education: Minimum high school (SMA) or vocational school (SMK) graduate, preferably with a background in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering.
2. Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on working experience in manufacturing, logistics, or equipment maintenance.
3. Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in operating production equipment and understanding SOPs.
* Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and logistics flow.
* Certified or skilled in operating a forklift.
* Valid SIM A driving license for operational assignments.
* Computer literacy, including basic Microsoft Excel skills or manual inventory tracking systems.
4. Soft Skills & Workplace Competencies:
* High sense of initiative, accountability, and responsibility.
* Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and neatness in record-keeping and packing.
* Strict adherence to company SOPs and workplace Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE/K3) regulations.
