Core Responsibilities
As a Field Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of the plant. Your daily duties will include:
* Operational Oversight: Monitoring plant systems during both routine operations and emergency scenarios to ensure seamless performance.
* Collaborative Control: Working closely with the Unit Controller to execute operational tasks and provide on-site supervision outside the main control room.
* Incident Management: Serving as a first responder during unit trips or emergency events, providing real-time status updates and manual support as directed by the Shift Leader.
* Technical Support: Assisting the Unit Controller during plant start-ups and managing equipment directly from local control stations.
* Reporting and Compliance: Submitting accurate daily operational reports and performing rigorous field inspections to ensure physical conditions match digital system statuses.
Candidate Requirements

1. Educational Background: A minimum of a Diploma (D3) degree.
2. Professional Experience: At least one year of relevant operational experience within a power plant, utility operation, or heavy industry environment.
3. Technical Proficiency: A strong foundational understanding of mechanical systems—including hydraulics, bearings, and rotating equipment—is required. Candidates with expertise in high-voltage electrical systems will be prioritized.
