## Job Vacancy Details: Laboratory Analyst
PT KIM is currently seeking a dedicated and analytical professional to join the team as a Laboratory Analyst. This role is crucial in maintaining environmental standards, ensuring water quality, and supporting the operational integrity of the industrial estate.
Core Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following educational and professional criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
* Grade Point Average: Minimum GPA of 2.80 out of 4.00.
* Work Experience: Preferred minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience working as a Laboratory Analyst.
* Technical Competencies:
* Comprehensive understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Management.
* Proficiency in environmental impact analysis.
* Mastery of water sample collection methods and water sample analysis techniques.
* Familiarity with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) protocols.
* Ability to operate specialized laboratory equipment and work tools accurately.
Primary Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle critical daily laboratory operations and environmental monitoring tasks. The main responsibilities include:
* Sample Collection: Gathering wastewater samples directly from the wastewater treatment facilities managed by PT KIM.
* Water Analysis & Reporting: Testing wastewater from PT KIM’s treatment plant and industrial partners, followed by generating comprehensive analysis reports.
* Clean Water Monitoring: Evaluating clean water supplied by third-party units at PT KIM as well as testing inlet points utilized by industrial tenants.
* Inventory & Calibration Management: Overseeing the receipt and consumption of chemical substances, alongside conducting internal equipment calibrations and documenting the results.
* Equipment Maintenance: Preserving laboratory instruments in optimal working condition and performing routine maintenance checks.
* Regulatory Compliance: Compiling official environmental reports to be submitted to relevant authorized government institutions.
* Administrative Duties: Preparing routine daily and monthly operational reports, alongside executing additional tasks assigned by the Head of Department or Division.
