## Current Career Opening: Control System Engineer (CPHD)
KPC is seeking a highly skilled Control System Engineer (Grade D) to join the Coal Processing & Handling Division on a fixed-term basis. This role is pivotal for maintaining the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our power generation infrastructure.
Essential Qualifications and Expertise
To be considered for this position, candidates must demonstrate a robust technical background and a commitment to engineering excellence. The following qualifications are mandatory:
* Education: A Bachelor’s degree (S1) or Applied Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
* Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, automation, or control systems.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge in PLC/DCS maintenance and programming, SCADA WinCC, instrumentation, control valves, and compressor/dryer maintenance.
* Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with international and local industry standards, including ISA, IEC, IEEE, AS, and PUIL.
* Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities, professional communication skills in English and Indonesian, and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Certifications: Possession of a power plant competency certificate (Sertifikat Kompetensi Ketenagalistrikan) and vendor-specific training for PLC/DCS systems are highly regarded.
* Logistics: Willingness to relocate and be based in the East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan.

The Control System Engineer will play a key role in the technical lifecycle of our assets. Key accountabilities include:

3. Project Management: Preparing technical assessments, designs, and cost estimates for capital expenditure (CEA) projects.
4. HSE Compliance: Ensuring all engineering activities strictly adhere to KPC’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols.
5. Performance Optimization: Identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing technical solutions to enhance equipment reliability and cost efficiency.
6. Contractor Oversight: Managing external contractors to ensure project delivery meets safety standards, budgetary constraints, and strict deadlines.
