## Career Opportunity: Import Document Staff
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Document Staff to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our international trade activities, ensuring that every shipment is handled with precision, legal compliance, and operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
The Import Document Staff is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of import documentation. Your primary duties include:
* Documentation Management: Preparing, verifying, and auditing essential import documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
* Compliance Oversight: Ensuring all documentation adheres strictly to international trade regulations, customs protocols, and internal corporate policies.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as the primary liaison between freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate seamless logistics.
* Shipment Tracking: Monitoring the real-time status of import shipments, proactively resolving discrepancies, and identifying potential bottlenecks before they impact the supply chain.
* Audit Readiness: Maintaining meticulous records and archives to ensure readiness for audits and performance reporting.
* Reporting: Providing regular updates to management regarding documentation status and logistics schedules.
Requirements for Success
