## Job Vacancy: WWTP & WTP Operator
As an integral part of the operational team, the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Operator plays a vital role in maintaining environmental compliance, safety standards, and operational efficiency across the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
To ensure seamless daily plant operations, the selected candidate will manage several essential tasks:
* Operate and continuously monitor the WWTP and WTP installations to guarantee peak performance.
* Conduct routine physical inspections of machinery, pumps, storage tanks, and associated utility systems.
* Verify that treated water quality consistently meets rigorous internal company standards and external regulatory frameworks.
* Record critical operational parameters accurately and compile comprehensive daily activity reports.
* Handle chemical dosing procedures strictly in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
* Maintain optimal housekeeping standards within the workspace and perform minor, routine equipment maintenance.
* Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with the Maintenance team whenever system anomalies or technical disruptions occur.
Candidate Qualifications
To thrive in this technical role, applicants must meet the following professional and educational criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum vocational high school (SMK) or diploma (D3) degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Professional Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience working as a WWTP or WTP operator within a manufacturing environment. (High-achieving fresh graduates with solid foundational knowledge in water treatment are strongly encouraged to apply).*
* Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of clean water treatment processes (WTP) and wastewater management systems (WWTP).
* Operational Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to test water quality parameters, manage pumps, filters, dosing pumps, and other essential supporting apparatus.
* Safety Awareness: Familiarity with water treatment chemicals and strict adherence to occupational health and safety (K3) protocols.
* Work Schedule: Prepared and flexible to work on a rotational shift schedule.
* Personal Attributes: High level of attention to detail, strong discipline, exceptional sense of responsibility, and a proven capacity to excel within a collaborative team setting.
