# Career Opportunities at PT Boma Bisma Indra (Persero): Join a Legacy of Industrial Excellence
PT Boma Bisma Indra (Persero), widely recognized as BBI, stands as a cornerstone of Indonesia’s industrial landscape. With a rich history spanning over five decades, this state-owned enterprise (BUMN) has consistently supported national economic growth and infrastructure development. Established in 1971 through the strategic merger of three state-owned entities—PN Boma, PN Bisma, and PN Indra—BBI has evolved into a powerhouse specializing in energy conversion, heavy machinery, industrial infrastructure, agro-industry, and commercial services.
Today, the company operates through three primary divisions: the Machinery and Industrial Equipment (MPI) division and the Foundry unit in Pasuruan, alongside the Project Management and Services (MPJ) unit in Surabaya. Supported by its subsidiary, PT Bromo Steel Indonesia (PT BOSTO), and a dedicated workforce of approximately 500 professionals, BBI continues to drive innovation.
