Junior Geologist
As a Junior Geologist, you will play a hands-on role in our exploration efforts, ensuring that our geological data is accurate and actionable.
* Execute exploration stages, including geological mapping, drilling oversight, geophysical logging, and coal sampling.
* Perform detailed descriptions of drill core samples and maintain precise drill logs.
* Interpret geophysical logging results to support geological modeling.
* Manage and maintain comprehensive drilling databases.
* Collaborate closely with the exploration team to ensure all tasks align with internal standards and safety procedures.
* Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
* Strong technical proficiency in coal mapping, drilling techniques, coal sample handling, and data interpretation.
* Willingness to be stationed at the Musi Rawas Utara site in South Sumatra.
Exploration Geologist
The Exploration Geologist will oversee complex geological projects, bridging the gap between field data and high-level strategic resource planning.
* Plan, manage, and supervise all phases of exploration, from mapping and drilling to final technical reporting.
* Conduct advanced coal seam interpretation and correlation.
* Develop detailed coal geological models and manage resource estimation.
* Maintain strict validation protocols for all geological databases.
* Act as a liaison between internal teams, supporting departments, and third-party contractors.
* Guarantee that all exploration activities strictly adhere to environmental regulations and industry safety standards.
* Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering.
* At least 5 years of professional experience in coal exploration.
* Expert-level skills in geological modeling, resource estimation, and exploration reporting.
Possession of a Pengawas Pertambangan* certification (POP or POM).
* Willingness to be stationed at the Musi Rawas Utara site in South Sumatra.
