* Work Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in maritime shipping, with background in the palm oil industry strongly preferred.
* Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in managing escort operations, anchoring procedures, and cargo loading/unloading activities.
* Maritime Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of basic navigation, marine safety regulations, and standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tugboat escort duties.
* Equipment Literacy: Capable of operating marine communication devices including VHF Radio, AIS, and GPS units.
* Safety Standards: Familiarity with the ISPS Code regulations and Occupational Health and Safety (K3) standards; holding a valid ISPS Code certificate is a distinct advantage.
